There are a hundred billion stars in our galaxy, and astronomers have recently determined that nearly every one of them has a planet. Do any of these planets harbor life, or are we alone in our galaxy? This profound question represents humanity's next great frontier. During the next Moonshot Night event, astronomer and FSU professor Jeremiah Murphy will be presenting our progress in addressing this question so far, and will lead a discussion on how we can rise to this challenge and answer this profound question in the next 50 years.
